The National Networks of the Energy Auditors are composed by highly qualified professionals and it is integrated by young graduates in engineer and architecture, having properly attended a Training Course on the Energy certification and diagnosis of buildings.The Training Course is included among the actions of the Enforce project.
The Network members have singed a Gentlemen Agreement, having an ethic value, containing the principles of a professional code of conduct which need to be respected while liaising with citizens, as well as infromaiton on the quality and type of the provided advice, the cost of the Energy Diagnosis and the commitment to solve possible disputes with the citizens through ADR procedures (Alternative Dispute Resolutions) before taking legal steps.
In order to guarantee the provided assistance, the Gentlemen Agreement also contains the commitment for the Energy Auditors not to have commercial liaises, economic interests either with the companies producing specific systems and equipments for the buildings’ energy efficiency or with those producing and selling energy.
The guarantee of the absolute independence and professionalism of the advice provided to the citizens by the members of the Network will determine a renewed trust in the interventions proposed according to the Energy Diagnosis and Certificationand it will contribute to develop investments finalized to the Energy upgrading of the existing residential buildings.
